1. What is the KvK register?
The Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) contains official data of all Dutch companies, including who the legal representative is.
2. How do I access my company data in the KvK register?
- Go to the official website of the Chamber of Commerce:
https://www.kvk.nl - Click on "Inloggen Mijn KvK" (Login My KvK) at the top right of the page.
- Log in with your DigiD (for sole proprietorship) or eHerkenning (for BV, NV, foundation, etc.).
- After logging in, you will see an overview of your company/companies.
- Click on your company to view the company data, including the legal representative(s).
3. What if I don't have login credentials?
- To access your company data, you need a DigiD (for freelancers/sole proprietorship) or an eHerkenning authentication method (for legal entities).
- Don't have eHerkenning yet? Apply for it via: https://www.eherkenning.nl/aanvragen
- You can apply for DigiD via: https://www.digid.nl/aanvragen/
4. Where can I find who the legal representative is?
- After logging in, you will see under "Bestuurders en gemachtigden" (Directors and authorized representatives) or "Eigenaren" (Owners) who is registered as legal representative or director.
- This is the person who is authorized to perform official actions on behalf of the company.
5. Can I download an extract from the KvK register?
- Yes, you can choose "Uittreksel Handelsregister aanvragen" (Request Trade Register extract) in your company data.
- This extract contains all current data, including the legal representative.
- Extracts can be downloaded directly as PDF (digital version is certified).
