1. What is the KvK register?

The Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) contains official data of all Dutch companies, including who the legal representative is.

2. How do I access my company data in the KvK register?

  • Go to the official website of the Chamber of Commerce:
    https://www.kvk.nl
  • Click on "Inloggen Mijn KvK" (Login My KvK) at the top right of the page.
  • Log in with your DigiD (for sole proprietorship) or eHerkenning (for BV, NV, foundation, etc.).
  • After logging in, you will see an overview of your company/companies.
  • Click on your company to view the company data, including the legal representative(s).

3. What if I don't have login credentials?

4. Where can I find who the legal representative is?

  • After logging in, you will see under "Bestuurders en gemachtigden" (Directors and authorized representatives) or "Eigenaren" (Owners) who is registered as legal representative or director.
  • This is the person who is authorized to perform official actions on behalf of the company.

5. Can I download an extract from the KvK register?

  • Yes, you can choose "Uittreksel Handelsregister aanvragen" (Request Trade Register extract) in your company data.
  • This extract contains all current data, including the legal representative.
  • Extracts can be downloaded directly as PDF (digital version is certified).

6. Where can I get help if I need it?

  • You can call the KvK Customer Service:
    Phone number: 088 585 15 85
    (Monday to Friday from 08:30 – 17:00)
  • Or visit the official website for more information:
    https://www.kvk.nl

Please note:
  • Keep your KvK number and, if necessary, identification at hand when you contact them or log in.
  • Only authorized persons can view and modify the company data.
